Over the past year, my work has involved setting up and managing Discord servers for several organizations, including Impermanent Digital, Tycho Friendship server, Sigur Ros, Tobi Lou, Glassface, and Rare Larries. As part of this work, I was responsible for setting up the servers, configuring permissions, designing channel flow, and ensuring security protocols were in place.

In addition to these core responsibilities, I also created custom bots within these Discord servers to perform various tasks. For example, in the Rare Larries web3 Discord server, I created a bot that allows users to generate a GIF of any season or episode of "Curb Your Enthusiasm" by simply stating the season and episode number along with a timestamp. This bot was a fun and interactive addition to the server and helped create a sense of community among the members.

Setting up and managing Discord servers for organizations involves a combination of technical skills and creativity. It requires a deep understanding of the platform's features and functionality, as well as an ability to customize and optimize these features to meet the organization's specific needs. Creating custom bots adds an extra layer of complexity, requiring an ability to code and integrate various APIs and services.

Overall, my experience setting up and managing Discord servers for various organizations has been a fulfilling and rewarding one. It has allowed me to combine my technical skills with my passion for community building and creating engaging user experiences.
